Driving to Work

Just arrived at the office. It's my second day to drive. Left home at around 4:15 and got here an hour later. The trip was uneventful with the usual traffic and some undeciplined motorists encountered. I simply avoided them by either getting ahead of them or allowing them to get ahead of me. No point in allowing them to ruin my day. Thank God I got here safely.

Reminiscing & Evening Rain

It's raining tonight. Reminds me of my college days in my old room with my study desk by the window. I sometime keep the window ajar to let the rain's mist in. The vapor was cold and made my skin tinkle abit. The feeling wakes me up when I had to sleep late, reading and doing my assignments. The light from my small table lamp gave a soft glow on everything it casts its light on. I paused from time to time to allow my mind to wander abit. It gave it a chance to decompress for a while. All those memory work and analyses gave me a mild headache. I used to rub the temples of my head to ease the pressure. And in between, I wrote my poems. My way of allowing my right brain to take over for a few minutes after working my left brain to its limit. :-)
